The Application:
The client operates a number of Vestas wind turbines in several remote locations across Tasmania. A reliable SCADA platform to control and monitor these sites is required. After discussing the technical details with the client, JDK technologies has proposed the IR611 router for this application, to allow a web-based SCADA to be deployed.
Data from these sites are sourced from both Serial and Ethernet ports, with powerful processing power of IR611, the data were transmitted over Telstra 3G network to designated services hosted by our client.
