The Client:
Bayside Council brings together the City of Botany Bay and Rockdale City Councils.
It was established by Proclamation on Friday 9 September 2016.The City covers approximately 55 square kilometres and has an estimated population of 156,500.
The issue:
Illegally dumped rubbish is often found on streets and quiet corners.
The application:
Together with Nationwide Services, JDK technologies has designed a solar powered platform to host IP cameras to monitor such illegal activities in the area. The key to this system is to maintain a reliable connection to these cameras installed. The Inhand router IR615 is used to have the camera, the video storage device and solar charging system connected back to base.
